INTRODUCTION... About The Author
I believe that being peaceful is the key to being happy. If you can live a peaceful life, happiness will follow. On the other hand, if you lack inner peace, material possessions won't keep you happy and fulfilled.
As a family physician, I have seen many patients who seem to suffer more mentally as compare to their physical illness. Their minds exaggerate their suffering, and counseling and reassurance not only bring them peace and relaxation, but also improve their physical health. A little kindness can improve both mental and physical health, as the mind and body are interconnected. This led me to create a blog, peacefulmindbody.blogspot.com, where I can share useful ways to care for mental and physical health.
The blog aims to raise public awareness about different issues and ailments, but it is not a substitute for medical therapy. If you have health concerns, consult your healthcare provider and do not self-medicate.
We can choose to be happy by adopting a healthier lifestyle, a healthier way of thinking, and by focusing on positive things in life. By being grateful for what we have, we can notice more peace and fulfillment in our lives.
I am interested in reading and writing. Spreading information to others allows me to make the most of my knowledge, as knowledge is for sharing. Things that I know might help save someone's life, improve their quality of life, or make them more peaceful and satisfied.
I believe in a holistic approach that considers the whole person, not just their physical symptoms. Holistic medicine treats the person as a whole, including physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Our diet and lifestyle play a pivotal role in our well-being.
To lead a peaceful and healthy life, you need to be mentally and physically fit, as the mind can't be at peace if the body is in pain, and vice versa. These go hand in hand. That's the main purpose of the blog peacefulmindbody, to provide information on health issues, self-care, leading a healthy life, and aging gracefully.
I wish you all the best in your journey of life.
Best regards,
